Our San Diego location is the Headquarters of Elite Finish and our flagship location. Elite Finish HQ is also home to the official San Diego Cars and Coffee event. Wes Walz founded Elite Finish in Idaho in 2007 and relocated to San Diego in 2010 offering Mobile Detailing. In 2012 Elite Finish moved into its first 1,000 Sq/Ft Shop Space. From that point on, our business, shop, and team continue to grow significantly. We have grown into a 10,000 Sq/Ft Facility.
Kevin Nielsen is the General Manager of our San Diego location and is known to be the Encyclopedia of Cars! He is your go-to for all questions and recommendations for the best options for your vehicle. At our Headquarters, we have trained staff specializing in Paint Protection Film, Detailing, Paint Correction, Ceramic Coatings, Window Tint and Customization. Whatever you need, we have the trained staff and space to complete it. We also hold national CQuartz Professional Detail and Ceramic Coating training at this location.
As you will see on our Instagram or YouTube, we offer a unique “delivery area” with professional lighting to show off the best details and condition of each car to make sure nothing is missed and to capture amazing photos of your vehicle. Premium Detailing Supplies are also available for purchase at this location and all of our online purchases are shipped out from our San Diego location.

Chris Dorsey opened our second location in 2020 in Carson City, Nevada, centrally located near Lake Tahoe and the Reno/Sparks area. Chris was a part of our main team for 3 years and was promoted to Detail Manager, then branched off to help us branch out. This location services about 2-3 vehicles at a time. Mainly focusing on the specialized skills of Detail, Wet Sanding, Paint Correction, and Ceramic Coatings. Paint Protection Film and Window Tinting Services are also offered.
Living in Nevada, home of Hot August Nights, we do work on a lot of unique classics and hot rods and get them prepped and at their best condition to win top awards at the most popular car show in the Biggest Little City in the World. Chris is a pleasure to work with and full of passion for providing services that others simply can’t.

Our newest addition! Owner and Founder, Wes Walz moved to Georgia in the Summer of 2021 with his family and continues to be an essential part of day-to-day business in CA and NV. While in Georgia, Wes focuses on professional detail training and business coaching.
Although no plans to open a physical shop yet, he travels to clients nationwide to offer Paint Correction and Ceramic Coatings. He continues to stay involved in the local community and attends car events to stay connected with other passionate automotive enthusiasts, and frequently travels back to San Diego to connect with his team and amazing customers.
